Qualifications
To qualify for the Reward rate and nationwide ATM service charge refunds, simply do the following everyday activities each monthly qualification cycle:
- Have at least 10 debit card purchases post and clear each qualification cycle
- Have at least 1 automatic payment or direct deposit post and clear each qualification cycle
- Access Online Banking once each qualification cycle
If you don't qualify for the rewards in a given cycle, you still earn our base rate of 0.10% APY* and get unlimited checking. Plus if you meet the qualifications, you can get the rewards back the very next cycle.
*Minimum to open account is $50 Annual Percentage Yield (APY) accurate as of 9/09/10. Rate tiers are as follows: 3.50% APY applies to balances of $.01 - $15,000 and 0.65% APY applies to balances over $15,000 if qualifications are met during the monthly qualification cycle. 0.10% APY applies to all balances if monthly qualifications are not met. All balances will earn 3.50% APY – 0.65% APY if monthly qualifications are met. Rate tier balance amounts and rates may change after the account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings. Qualifying transactions must post and clear to the account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date the transaction was made to post to an account. Intra‐bank transfers do not count as qualifying transactions.
**ATM Fee reimbursements provided only if qualifications are met within the monthly qualification cycle. ATM nationwide refunds are automatically issued for amounts up to $4.99; amounts greater than $4.99 will be refunded upon presentment of receipt. Foreign ATM service charges will not be refunded if the qualifications are not met.
